Transaction updates to Schwab… Transaction updates to Schwab investment accounts and Wells Fargo banking accounts no longer working. When working, when one tried to update the investment accounts, Quicken downloaded past transactions that have already been reconciled. Quicken needs to add a field on the update function ... "Only Update Transactions After This Date."

Used Quicken for over 30 years but have one major complaint I've used Quicken for over 30 years & overall it is very good. ONE COMPLAINT: Quicken is getting very expensive for the simple basic editions! $50 annual subscription is too much for a basic edition. I'm looking for an alternative home financial software with a more reasonable price.

I like Quicken very much I like Quicken very much. I found its features and functionality very user friendly and complete. And that’s why I have been a loyal user of this software for more than 3 decades. However, the price increases are getting ridiculously high, to a point that customers may be discouraged to renew the subscription in the future and start to search for other options with Quicken’s competitors. From 2022 to 2023 the price increased 15% and from 2023 to 2024 increased another 20%. That seems too much. Please hold your horses on this topic, Quicken.

Makes reconciling checking account easy I'm kind of OCD about making my checkbook match the balance my bank shows. I download transactions from my bank every day and it is really easy to do. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because since the last update, the memo field auto populates to the last transaction entered. This is the field where I entered notes about payments made, such as credit cards, which aren't always the same.

I like Quicken in general. I like Quicken in general and have been a long user. I do not like that I still have to move it to my laptop when I go on vacation rather then being able to have it on multiple computers and just do an update. I am also not a big fan of the subscription model. Might work for profits but I do not see enough changes in my version to make me happy paying every year. Maybe a listing of improvements by version would open my eyes to actual improvements. Security and bug fixes are not improvements.
