While with Spectrum, I consistently enjoyed a ping of 0-10 milliseconds, with Starry, I've experienced ping fluctuations ranging from 40 to a mind-boggling 300 milliseconds. These lag spikes are not just inconvenient; they're downright unacceptable for anyone serious about gaming. Starry's claim of providing fast WiFi falls flat on its face in my experience. Instead of consistent speeds, I've encountered erratic performance that can't be attributed to anything other than poor network infrastructure or oversubscribed connections. The inconsistency is frustrating, to say the least, especially when gaming requires split-second reactions and precision. Furthermore, the lag spikes I've experienced with Starry are not just occasional nuisances; they're disruptive and frequent. NOT HAPPY, PRICE INCREASE Starry advertised 30$ internet, no price increases. It has now raised to 45$ per month. When I called to cancel, they were happy to let me go as a customer. They'd rather lose my business completely. I COULD HAVE opted out of this, but apparently I missed the deadline December 12th. BYEEEEE!!!! UPDATE- They offered to drop it 5$ for one year, saying there was nothing else they could do because I missed the deadline. INEXCUSABLE. You'd rather miss out on my business than excusing the fact that I never received the email to begin with??
