I'm organizing lots of QR codes for a University Art Exhibition, and was delighted to find that I could coordinate each QR code with the art piece it's designated for using precise hex codes. Complete and utter scumbags - avoid! These guys let you make a QR code for free, and then once you have gone and printed it or whatever, they will surprise you with an expensive monthly subscription, or else your QR is useless. This is blackmail and is a tactic to force you to pay else all your printed material is worthless. I would avoid this service like the plague - there are GENUINE free ways to make QR codes. It wouldnt be a problem if these scumbags actually TOLD you it was only free for 7 days. BUT THEY DONT. AVOID.

QR code flat fee I didn’t realize that creating a QR code with a free trial would end up costing $35/month to keep the QR code active - however, qr.io’s team was accommodating to me and allowed me to pay a flat fee of $50 to keep the QR code active forever. They were very helpful and responsive and I appreciate them for that!

Met expectations I used the service for a couple months and was glad to have it, and it auto renewed after the campaign was done, but they gave me a refund for the unused last month. When I run again, I intend to take advantage of the customer retention offer that they gave me.
