Particularly during the pandemic years, I had succumbed more and more to internet distractions, wasting time on the computer instead of working, sleeping, or spending time with family. Helpful if your addicted to your screen and self control isnt enough Indulging too much in entertainement on screens, it was affecting my life in many levels. I tried to manage this by myself, but eventually I realised I lacked the self control. This really helped me. Plus you can customize your plan, you can add websites to the forbidden list WHILE your plan is active, you can set an uninstall protection to make sure you dont get rid of the software in a moment of weakness...

Focusme is the best there is for the job I think there is really not great alternatives around for blocking and focus programs. Focusme is super customizable with how you can set up your plans, and with forced mode you can not cheat. Customer care is also top notch. I've owned the program for many years now and I've always got answers to my questions within few days.

Love it! Been using for only 2-3 days and still kind of working out which of the protections works best for me but already saved hours of time and feel a lot happier! The blocks are impossible to cancel other than the canceling/pause method you set which is way better than other apps.
