GBWorth its entire cost! (i.e., nothing) Requires installation of an MP4 codec, but doesn't tell you. If you try recording without it, you get an error with no indication of what is wrong. Screen recordings have horrible flicker, rendering them unwatchable. I've tried both monitors using various settings, and the flickering persists. Good luck getting help online. Their FAQ page is about as short as Trump's list of qualifications. It literally devotes more space to a couple of worthless images than to the actual questions and answers. On top of that, it froze on me within the first 15 minutes of use. Garbage.

LKJesus Christ I love this software Jesus Christ I love this software. I was looking for a lightweight video editor a few years ago and all the "popular options" either had unbelievable number of restrictions or just insanely high prices for the full featured version. And then I discovered VSDC from a YouTube video and I fell in love with video editing again. I used the free edition for almost a year and used it with no issues whatsoever. (I have a very crappy laptop and that tells something about the how good this is) And then I learned about Bezier curves and visual audio wavelength in the timeline being available in the Pro version, I jumped at the deal. Like 20 bucks for an entire year of this godly software is the most absurdly killer deal I've ever seen. I even found the coupon code that brought it down to about 10 bucks. Gotta say, when VSDC released proxy media file support in an update it became even easier and smoother to use. I definitely recommend VSDC and VSDC Pro is absolutely worth it. The support from the team and especially the reddit and YouTube community is amazing!

RSTruly free but a bit overcomplicated I have been using VSDC video editor for years now. I'm free user, and free version has everything I ever needed. You can use vast choice of options and possibilities for even a pro editing. Downside, at least for me, is that this software is a bit too overcomplicated. Some ordinary operations require too much time and patience. You can easily get lost in dozens of icons, options, possibilities. All in all, it's good choice for free users that have enough patience to master this software.

IEI'm not a regular video editor I'm not a regular video editor. I found this so cumbersome to use - even somehting simple like changing the duration of images in a video wasn't straight forward and intuitive. It did allow me to upload more files than the other one that currently comes with windows but it's not user friendly at all in my opinion.
