Review of Maptitude I have been a planning consultant for over 20 years. I highly recommend Maptitude. The learning curve is short - it is the most intuitive but powerful mapping applications I have ever used. Others are fine, they cannot beat the ease of use and functionality of Maptitude. It is easy to create map layers and final presentation maps from scratch with it. And Maptitude comes with map layer data of its own, which is the best I have seen. In addition can import a variety of file types, which is extremely valuable when you are working with local governments using a variety of map formats. This means you can readily combine data from many sources in one map in Maptitude. You will really like working with it.

Better than I remember! I had used Maptitude in a previous position and it was a fantastic product. Far and away the best GIS Mapping program I have used. I like it better than ESRI myself. At my new position I had to prove Maptitude's value. Drew Smith was instrumental in keeping my trial alive during PC swaps and hard drive failures so that Maptitude's value was demonstrated. Needless to say, Maptitude proved to be even better than I remember. We purchased our license today. Thanks Drew and Caliper!

It can do everything I need it to do - from the very simple to the complex. It integrates nicely with other programs and file types making analysis and presentation very easy. I highly recommend Maptitude to firms who need a function-rich GIS mapping solution. It is the best!

Finally found software that I can work with. This looks like the perfect software. As a criminologist I have been looking for software that I can use to map population and housing data against housing data.
