CAYou can lose your number anytime Used the $5 plan for 2 years, worked ok, was on auto pay, card expired, I called, tried to update payment method but impossible to make any payment online or over the phone. They were about to shut down my number! I was proactive enough to transfer my phone number to T-Mobile in a day. If you have a number you care about and want to keep, stay away from Hello! Inexistant and unhelpful customer service .

We have tried many different cell phone companies over the last 8 years and Hello Mobile is the absolute best deal we've ever had at $5/mth...and the second month is free. GBthe worst company i ever been with i… the worst company i ever been with i had unlimited data and everything… 400 mgb of speed test then after i reach 2gb of data my speed went to 1.25 mgb no matter i test it morning midday afternoon or night the speed was 1.25 mgb… my job is on the road all day requires I reliable internet and this company hello mobile couldn’t meet the needs of a good connection and when i called costumers service i was told from technical support that my speed was acceptable and a speed of 1.25 mgb was ok… i ask for a port out pin and get out from hello mobile the fastest i could… bye bye hello mobile never again.!

GBI know my address I just tried to place a order for service and sim cards but it seems these people know my mailing and physical addresses better than I do they have never seen where I live I've been here for almost 50 years and have had the same mailing address for about 15 years but they say i'am wrong and I can't place the order with my address. I'd like to thank them for rejecting my order probably done me a big favor had to drop us mobile because of of price raise. Now these people know more than me about where I've lived for 50 years.
