GBI wrote a review assuming this was… I wrote a review assuming this was another scam company. After my experience with Jason I came to realize I was wrong. Jason was professional and exhibited great customer service as well as being knowledgeable. I tried to delete my 1st review but couldn't figure out how. I would give this company an 8 star if I could all because of Jason, he represents Buyback Surgeon well. I will most definitely refer this company to sell your use cell phones, and will be selling my iPhone watch series 7 because I no longer have my iPhone.

GBTrustworthy and Efficient First time selling my iPhone as I usually just pass them on to family and friends or trade in. I was obviously nervous but they were gracious and reasonable with the value and will be sending over the payment. The efficiency is amazing. I wish I knew about them before! Will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will use them again!

GBMy experience with iSurgeon/Buyback Surgeon Disclaimer upfront: This review is based on my personal experience, it is meant to inform you about what I experienced with them, your actual experience may vary. My offer number with this business is BBS44031. The good: Sarah communicated promptly throughout the transaction. When I requested to ship my device back, they did it promptly free of charge, the packing was very well done. The bad: I got a quote for my 15 PM for $921 in flawless condition. I bought the phone brand new 3 months ago, put in case in Day 1 also with a screen protector, there was no scratch or any visible marks on the phone. I sent in the phone, they wrote back stating I quote "yours has case wear/marks on the outside of the frame." I didn't think a rubber made case could put any permenant "wear/makrs" on a titanium frame, then they proceeded with a revised offer of $807, asked me if I would accept this revised offer. I declined the offer and requested the device to be shipped back. Sarah then responded stating I quote again "If there is another price you are seeing or anything I can check with Jason for you to get this purchased instead of returned." I declined to negotiate any offer other than the one I initially agreed on. They promtly mailed my device back. When I received my device, I thouroughly checked the device to find the wear/marks they claimed, but no luck, the device was and still is in flawless condition without any wear, mark or any visible damage. My recommendation for you: Read other reviews about this business, there are other people experienced the same thing where you get the initial quote then they later came back to you with a lower quote citing some kind of damage. I don't know how true other people's claims are about their devices' condition, didn't see their devices, don't know them, so can't judge. But I know the condition of my device. They lure you in with a higher initial quote only to offer you a lower offer once they have your device. Maybe they do have the highest initial offer on sellcell.com, but it doesn't matter since you don't get that price at the end. Read other buyers' review online before you trade in your device, there are buyers whose initial offer maybe little lower, but they honor their offers given that you accurately submitted your device condition. My experience with this buyer is that they find excuse to not give you the initial offer and negotiate the price with you after they get your device. Update: The owner called me soon after this review went live. He sounded that he really cares about my subpar experience with them and offered solutions to make my experience better. However I've already shipped the phone to another buyer. Like I mentioned initially in my review, this is meant for me to share my experience with this business and your experience may vary. I feel he showed that he cares about his business and want to find ways to make things right. For this reason and as I promised in the phone call, I would bump up the rating by 1 star for his effort and took the time calling me to figure out what exactly happened. I did not take any cash or cash equivalent offer to modify this review. The increase in rating is for his effort to make things right. A few take aways I would like to share with you: 1. The biggest take away for me is that: You need to clean your phone thouroughly before sending it in to them. They will inspect your phone "as is". I got my phone back, there was dusts around the case opening at the bottom near the charging port and speakers. So they did not clean the phone for inspection, they will inspect it "as is" right out of the envelop. I expressed during the phone call that I would think you would clean it before inspection and if they had done that, they would agree that my phone was in flawless condition as I claimed it to be. When I got back the phone, I checked titanium band, the battery health and charging cycle as an attempt to know what they did during inspection, I saw dusts that accumulated from normal use near the bottom case openings, I took an alchol wipe to wipe them off. The charging cycle didn't increase and the battery health is at 100%, more importantly the IMEI and IMEI2 match with the original box. So they did send back the phone that I sent to them, but they did not clean the phone for inspection. It is your responsibility to do so. I don't necessarily agree with this, but now I know this is what they expect me to do. So, clean your phone before sending to them if you want the highest offer for your device. 2. This does not only apply to this buyer, but in general. You should take good pictures of your phone or even videos before sending it in, so you have evidence to back what you claim. I charge my phone exclusively via wireless charging. I didn't expect the dust that can be wiped off easily would lower the value. Again, now I know.
