Traveling to Europe knowing you have a phone for emergencies, and not getting ripped off. I'm traveling to France with my 92 year old father and siblings for D-Day Events in Normandy. I looked into my AT&T iPhone plan and read online opinions. If you don't have your settings in airplane mode, and set just right, people were getting $500-$900 surprise bills when they got home.
