I bought this as a gift for my… I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend's upcoming birthday in October. He has a 2015 Kia Optima, but it doesn't have any sort of smart screen at all. He's wanted one so badly, in fact he's looked at other cars just to have this feature. I've considered getting a third party one installed for him, but the unit itself that we looked at was over $500, not including installation. I couldn't justify that amount, especially since we aren't sure how long he will have the vehicle. I saw an ad on instagram for a similar product and gasped because I didn't know such a thing existed! An "external" car play unit? For 1/4 the price?? What could be better! I never buy off of social media ads but this one looked trust worthy. The size was especially appealing because not only is it technically bigger, but I love how it isn't as tall. My boyfriend's dash is pretty high as it is, so this lower profile unit will be perfect to not obstruct his vision too much.

I received this product last week and… I received this product last week and so far, I am satisfied with the quality, ease of installation, and usefulness of the product. Installation of the main unit was simple and straightforward. It linked with my iPhone without a problem. The only tricky part was the installation of the rearview camera due to the wiring. While the manual had easy to use instructions in general, I wish there was more guidance related to the installation of the rear camera. Fortunately, I was able to find videos online which described the process in more detail.

Absolute scam Purchased this product for a Christmas present. After three months, it stopped working, and the CarPlayBox won't do anything about it because their warranty is 14 days. The website hyped the product to be all bells and whistles, but it's just a cheap device hyped up to be something that it is most definitely not. Avoid at all costs.

The screen size is big enough to see… The screen size is big enough to see the map on the GPS and not too big to block my peripheral vision. My vehicle does not have Bluetooth capability so it's wonderful to be able to FINALLY connect my phone to my car! I can mirror my phone as well, so I can play a video to entertain my friends or whoever is riding with me.

I've been on and off looking for a… I've been on and off looking for a solution to upgrade the stereo for my 2014 Ram, Came across this and it had good reviews so gave it shot. I'm surprised and how much I like it. Easy setup and installation. Its pretty much plug and play and connects easily to the phone. I didn't hide any wires but did do some cable management. The android auto connects within a few seconds on its own and after loading Waze the first time it automatically starts there which is nice.
