Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making. At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. I feel that I learned a lot and felt engaged during the course as there were examples provided as well as clear and concise slides. Cedric made this an enjoyable experience with his enthusiasm and supporting character. Getting to engage with a group at the end was enjoyable as well as it was an opportunity to meet new people.
