About Quizlet: Digital flashcards and online study tools

Quizlet is a lightning fast way to memorize vocabulary lists. It's like flashcards, but much more fun and interactive.

If I could I would give them a zero If I could I would give them a zero. I am a teacher. Somehow a school account from my former school system was left active. I left the state and therefore the job, rightfully so the school district disabled my email. For the past 2 years, quizlet has charged me a yearly fee via Apple Pay. I am not even sure how my personal Apple Pay was connected to this account. They refused to reimburse me. Although there is no way to access the account because the email doesn’t exist and no one can reset the password. 75+ bucks flushed down the toilet for a dummy account. Bad business!!!

Customer support sucks. And I didn’t get my refund back or reply never trusting this site

They are liars right from the start They are liars right from the start. I was looking for a solution to a problem in a textbook that I'm trying to figure out. I find the book and the problem in their site. When I click on the problem I wanted to see, it told me to "create a free account to see the answers." Well, since they explicitly said "free account," I figured sure, I'll sign up and get spam for the answer (as you know anyone asking for your email plans to automatically takes it upon themselves to put you on spam lists these days). After I sign up, have to verify my email, *THEN* they immediately send me to a page telling me I have to sign up for a "free trial," then pay monthly for a subscription!!! Why would anyone in their right mind sign up with trickery like that?! They DID NOT state "free trial," they clearly stated "free account." I have no idea why any of you would've signed up for a site with deceptive practices like that. Sites like this really need to be removed from Google...

Terrible Terrible. Even with an excellent network connection and a powerful PC, You will still experience significant lag. The site freezes at times, you get kicked out occasionally, and glitches are a common occurrence. Additionally, it includes ads, which is understandable for a free "learning" tool, but in 7 out of 10 cases, the ads can be highly inappropriate for kids and students. Some valuable features have been either removed or hidden, such as the writing mode, making it hard to locate. Previously free features have now transitioned into "premium" features that require payment. To make matters worse, the built-in voices sound horrendous and are unintelligible in certain cases. Quizlet also used to be better.

A shell of what once was wow. Current university student and Quizlet user for 8 years. Every single great feature that was once free is now locked behind a paywall. The company is now more committed to emptying the pockets of students rather than educating them. Everytime is use the platform, I get absolutely bombarded with distracting ads. I get teased with free trials of learning modes THAT WERE ONCE FREE AND GREATLY EFFECTIVE. NOW I SEE ADS EVERY 3 MINUTES. Kinda hard to focus on my study set when advertisements are being shoved down my throat. Absolute joke of an educational company. Enjoy the bankroll though.
