Good for social sciences Certain subjects are sparse, but I'm mainly using Fiveable for APMacro, which has been amazing. As long as you've read the material in class/outside of class, Fiveable summarizes the ideas in simple ways if you're having trouble grasping them. Probably shouldn't use it on its own for studying, but using Fiveable and the sourcebook has really helped me.

Great Resources and Amazing Community If you need to get free resources for any AP classes, Fiveable is the way to go. I'm currently an APUSH and BC Calculus student and they have so many ways to help me study. For example, they have many trivia questions that can make studying/learning enjoyable. They also have a great community on discord that not only helps on AP courses but on other things like college apps, linked in, resumes, etc. Fiveable has been a great experience for me and honestly, you don't even need to be in AP classes to have a great experience with Fiveable.

An Amazing Platform! I have been using Fiveable since the pandemic and found it very helpful through its extensive study guides, cram sessions, and live sessions. Additionally, there is always an opportunity to interact with other AP students and TAs, who are always ready to help. Fiveable is also unique in the sense that it not only provides excellent resources, but also allows students to contribute, pitch in ideas, and continue improving the platform. I am overall impressed by the supportive staff, interns, TAs, and students, from whom I'm always learning!

Not reliable Somewhat helpful at certain situations, but majority of the time it's not the best place to learn something. The practice question sets are very confusing, so is their study guide. First, the study guide will introduce you so many random vocabularies without a concise and clear explanation or example. Second, the practice question sets. The questions give are completely irrelevant to the corresponding unit. Perhaps the questions weren't made by Fiveable itself, but at least explain more precise about the answers. Their explanations are like telling you to left but also right at the same time, which many of the time is very discouraging. The only solution to this problem is to learn and reinforce from other sources such as Khan Academy. And if that's the only solution, why bother using Fiveable in the first place?
