SGAccurate and Patient Drum Teacher Wei Lung is the damn GOAT i swear. I’ve been learning drums under him for a year in person, and not only does he select exercises and patterns that fit general pop/rock drum trends, but he also explains the WHY behind both the exercises as well as the choices songwriters make. The one thing I get from Wei Lung compared to the other music teachers I’ve had is the feeling of guided through every detail, and he often takes videos during the lessons to scrutinise our movements, proceeding to then demonstrate to us how to approach ideal form. I also feel that he doesn’t expect you to get there immediately, so there’s always an decent sense of challenge that isn’t overly stressful. What I also really appreciate is how he’s always working on his syllabus, changing out certain modules for similar exercises that he feels result in better training.

SGDrumming with Wei Lung Drum lessons with Wei Lung are engaging and inspiring. The syllabus breaks down fundamental techniques and is well-structured to help me build my confidence in eventually achieving various skill levels. I enjoy playing the songs I've learnt so far and look forward to more!
