Aural approach is valuable. Aural approach is unique and valuable. Both examples and readings deal with day-to-day situations with humor. Problems with site such as pop-ups are minor. “AI” needs monitoring. Forum has been dropped. Questions regarding billing for renewal were initially met with canned response. Rating upgraded after billing problem solved. (Thanks Elizabeth.)

A very well structured, enjoyable course After taking 40 (out of 250) 'Ripeti con Me' lessons I find the course enjoyable and highly useful. Each lesson has a focus on broad-usage forms (e.g. the correct use of when/while, before/after); in the meantime, vocabulary is enlarged, and grammar is introduced as if 'thru the back door.' Every lesson contains new material but also builds on material already learnt. Far from being a mere collection of phrases, this is in fact a very sophisticated method that for me works extremely well. Personally I can say that my progress from one lesson to the next is substantial.

Passive repetition not the best path to fluency Hmm, everybody here gives 5 stars. I'm surprised. "Ripeti con me!" promises to be different than the other courses and to lead to spoken fluency. Stefano has a lot of good lesson content on grammar and I like the graded "Leggi con me!" But, I don't believe that passive spoken repetition of a teacher is the best path to spoken fluency. I prefer methods where you are prompted to think of a correct reply and then to speak it. At least one well-known course teaches languages this way. I don't think "Ripeti con me!" passive spoken repetition is as effective. Stefano replies below that his program is active. It is not. If you are interested, there are many good articles easily found on the internet that address active vs. passive language learning. S criticizes me for not properly following his method. I investigated his approach and decided that it was not the best method, so I have moved on. Think in Italian has much to offer, but it is not the best course for me.

Stefano the genius polyglot- Really helpful Stefano is an extremely intelligent and amazing person . He is a polyglot, that means genius! A little bit sarcastic and ironic sometimes (most of the times), but that makes the lessons more interesting! I am glad that Devil sent him to me! Highly recommended! P.S. He is kind of misanthrope, but that's his perfectionism!

Best ever language learning experience This course has easily been the most effective i've ever taken in regards to language learning. With its focus on speaking from day 1, you intuitively pick up words without ever feeling like you're studying. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has tried to learn languages but lacks confidence (especially in speaking). This has been a game-changer for me!
