Individual attention at affordable price I started Spanish beginners classes last year for my kid. The teacher we got is excellent with kids. She taught so well and eased our concerns when we said we need more help as we don't know any Spanish. She used to teach in way that was both entertaining and useful that my kid started even talking small sentences. I see very good progress in her Spanish vocabulary. I liked ease of scheduling classes at our convenience and individual attention for the kid. The only reason I took out 1 star is the new teacher took almost 8 classes to figure out at what level is my kid's Spanish. I would've liked more if there is some way that when we change to new teacher, they can see where the kid's level is.

10/10 would recommend OCTB! Daniel Cruz is an excellent teacher. He is patient and is open to talking about whatever you as the student want to. But he also has lots of great questions to ask to get you engaged in an interesting topic. There's never a lull in the conversation. He is funny and kind. This one-on-one tutoring is also extremely affordable. I subscribe to eight 60-minute classes a month and only pay 8 USD an hour. I asked him, and he said he is paid a generous wage for these tutoring sessions. I'm getting more confident speaking Spanish and slowly but surely I am getting better at listening and understanding, too! 10/10 would recommend if you need to improve your vocabulary, speaking, listening, and conversational skills.

I have found it very beneficial to practice Spanish What a great way to practice Spanish! I have enjoyed meeting teachers from all over Latin America. Each brings a smiling face and willingness to help. I have found it very beneficial to think abut questions, or come prepared to practice certain constructions, conjugations or situations. Find the teachers who will not quickly revert to English and have fun with it!

We are SO pleased with our daughter's… We are SO pleased with our daughter's Spanish lessons. Although she is a native speaker, she has gotten into the bad habit of wanting to speak only in English at home. She started to replace Spanish words with English words when she couldn't think of the word in Spanish fast enough. Patty has been so patient and kind with Aubrey. We have definitely noticed an improvement in her vocabulary and her diction. We cannot recommend OCTB enough. You will not be disappointed, just give them a try.
