I used Sketchy Pharm, Micro, and Pathology for Step 1 and I can say with confidence that there were many questions on my school exams and boards that I got correct solely because of Sketchy's memory hooks and visuals. This style of learning is truly a gamechanger for many students. I highly recommend Sketchy to any medical student. Even now, in my clinical rotation years, the Sketchy videos still run through my head whenever a preceptor asks me about C.Dif in a patient, side effects of medications, and so forth. Finally, you can tell that the Sketchy team puts a lot of time and effort into their illustrations and memory hooks. The sketches are very high quality and appealing to the eye. 6 years since step 1, and I still remember Sketchy I am a PGY2 and used Sketchy during medical school, and there is literally nothing I learned during medical school that remains in my memory better than that which i learned through sketchy. Tremendous study tool, arguably no other better way to encode information into the brain (for me, at least). Major props to the sketchy team.

Took Micro from my weakest topic to my strongest Excellent. Took Micro from my weakest topic to my strongest. I then started using it for Pharm, Path, Shelves. This is the only thing that can really get me to retain memorization topics. Highly recommend. The only downside is it is much more expensive than any of the other resources. That said, I still pay.
