I barely recieved any help if needed I barely recieved any help if needed. My first community counselor didn't really care about my issue with my host family and told me to solve it myself. When I flew to my 1st and 2nd host family I got a flight including a seat. On my way to my home country I suddenly got told they don't book seats for you. Some workers respond to emails late and rarely care about your issue. I had an issue with my flight back and recieved an email asking if I still need help when I was already back in my home country and solved it myself.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE I was an Au Pair in America for two years and I can tell that it was the best time of my life! The Au Pair In America program was the best experience that made me live a great time and realize my American dream. I met wonderful people, made friends from all over the world, lived in families that made me feel like at home. I learned a lot, I experienced a lot, I smiled a lot and I couldn't be more happy to do this big jump to a new life! I really recommend this experience if you want to change your life and live and incredible dream!

How it was for me My experience with Au Pair in America was great. From start to beginning, they where really helpful and supportive with everything and always made sure to have someone listen to me. My counselor (and the one helping out while mine was on vacation) was amazing. So supportive and I could not have wished for a better one(s). APIA is the best agency! APIA is the best agency!! I definitely recommend it. The prices are way cheaper and affordable compared to other agencies. I've been an Aupair for almost 2 years in the US and whenever I needed help they were there to help me.

Not as promised No enough support for the au pair, specially during the pandemic. The payment is not meeting the minimum per hour by state and some families excuse their wrong behavior behind "you are leaving in my house and I'm paying you". The whole program is promoted as the best exchange experience when lots of au pair are not even able to enjoy their free time because of very strict families that not respect boundaries or people. **I worked as an au pair in 2019-2021
