About Polygon Psychology

Polygon is a new kind of psychology practice. We're on a mission to support individuals with dyslexia, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions to reach their full potential. Our team of experienced psychologists is dedicated to providing top-notch psychoeducational and neuropsychological support to those who need it most. We understand that accessing quality testing and support can be difficult and expensive. That's why we've developed a proprietary technology platform that makes our services more affordable and accessible. Our tests are up to 5 times less expensive than traditional providers, and our online platform makes it easy to book appointments and schedule your testing within a week. Our psychologists are carefully selected through a rigorous 5-stage interview process and receive extensive training to ensure they provide the best care possible. They use a variety of gold-standard assessments to evaluate a student's history and behaviors, and our tests satisfy IDEA requirements, making them an excellent resource for those who need accommodations on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and GRE. At Polygon, we believe that learning differences should be celebrated as unique strengths, rather than seen as disabilities. We strive to change the perceptions and outcomes for individuals with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and ADHD by providing accessible, quality support. With 1 in 5 people having a learning difference, there's a large community of individuals who could benefit from our services. We want to empower those individuals to reach their full potential and help them navigate the world in a way that works best for them. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of those with learning differences and help rewrite the narrative to focus on differences, not disabilities. If you or someone you know could benefit from our support, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about how Polygon can help.

Polygon assessment for 8 year old Although a relatively new company, Polygon provided excellent care with our family. They were quick to respond to our inquiries via email and a phone call. We were able to set up an assessment with our child quickly. We were a bit apprehensive about an assessment over zoom, but it was easy, and our child was given breaks throughout. The report came back a week later and was detailed and helpful for our family and teachers. We appreciated that Polygon followed up with us after the assessment. Overall it was a great experience and we received invaluable information regarding our child's learning needs.

I’m so glad we did it! I chose to have my son assessed because I’ve noticed possible learning differences during distance learning. I wanted to get some insights even when we don’t have the benefits of education professionals observing him in person. The process with Polygon was easy from the first step. I was thrilled to secure an appointment just a few days after my initial conversation. My questions were answered by real people, not an AI bot. The psychologist was positive and adaptable in supporting my son through the assessment. She built in breaks when needed instead of sticking to a rigid schedule. Her debrief after the initial scoring gave me insights into his strengths and potential challenges, and the full report gives me the support I need to discuss his needs further with his teacher and the school district. I’ve been sharing my experience with every parent I know who has questions about their child’s learning. I will be doing another assessment with Polygon in a couple years to track his progress.

Great experience and helpful insight The assessment was comprehensive and seamless, and the analysis was thorough and insightful. Being able to go through the entire assessment online, all the while with the same specialist, definitely was a big plus for me, as the only time I would need for the assessment were the actual testing times without needing to plan for additional time for travel or getting comfortable with the new person. The tests were administered in various fields, and the resulting analysis covered many aspects that I didn't even know I was being tested on. The review session was especially helpful since I was able to talk with the specialist that I saw regarding future plans and what the different outcomes of the tests meant. This has definitely allowed me to learn more about myself and how my brain functions, and has given me a very firm starting point on how to deal with certain issues I have been struggling with. The very clear picture of where my mental condition stands, given by Polygon, will most certainly help me in seeking the right treatment plans and developing skills to help futher. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and their services to anyone who asks.

Extremely comprehensive and great customer experience The assessment process with Polygon was extremely comprehensive and thorough. I had several hours-long sessions with a clinician, including a qualitative conversation/interview portion where we talked about my history as well as monitored testing sessions. It was so useful to be able to do the entire assessment remotely, especially because it was a serious time commitment, which is something you need to make sure to plan around. However, they were accommodating and offered additional availability when I had conflicts. I also liked that I worked with the same clinician throughout the whole process. In the past, I've needed to see multiple professionals for one diagnosis, and it felt like I had to start over each time I saw someone new. With Polygon, they were able to get the whole picture by the end. Although it was a bit annoying to have to test for certain disabilities I knew I didn't have because only the comprehensive option was available, it was also nice to know that if I did have them, they would be noticed. I didn't even realize you could have learning disabilities specific to reading, writing, math, etc. Overall, I think it was a worthwhile process, and I learned so much about myself through Polygon that I wish I knew earlier.
