GBGreat College Admissions/Test Prep It was the best decision to go with Excel for my college admission and test preparation needs. While I considered several other companies (both local and national) for test prep help, I was drawn to Excel by their emphasis on dynamic teaching and high-to-perfect scores on tests. Eventually got a perfect 1600 on the SAT, 800s on SAT Subject Tests in Chem, Bio, Physics and Math, and a perfect 36 on the ACT. Thank you Excel for your amazing teachers and staff!

GBWent from 1700 to 2190 Went from 1700 to 2190 (old SAT scoring range) by just going to EXCEL test prep and practicing problems in the College board blue book. Free pizza, clear and motivating instructors, and lots of practice problems. I don't consider myself a fast learner but they were able to thoroughly break down the structure of SAT problems and give you the best tricks to maximizing your score. (brief update, I was able to get into school of engineering at UCLA with my SAT score) Highly recommend to those taking the SAT (old or new). GBI did not study Civil Engineering in college! I did not study Civil Engineering in college, I was an NE, but fate and luck brought me into the Civil field later in life. When I needed to take the FE I found Excel Test Prep, after taking a review class with another company. The approach, lots of problem solving, appropriate material, all contributed to my passing the FE. When I needed to take the PE, I went back to Excel. It took a couple tries, mostly because I never studied most of the other material, but I took the recorded review session the 2nd try and came out of the exam with my eyes wide open. Because of the depth and quality of the review, I knew when to check for upper and lower limits that might govern, and how to solve the full problem, not the first answer. Do not sit on the fence, or take chances with the exam, it's too expensive, go to Excel, you will be way ahead of your peers!.
