I'd never been able to write songs I'd never been able to write songs, every time it just came out wrong somehow. However, after going through Ed's book online and following the exercises I found at the end I'd written a song that was half decent. Now there's no stopping me, I'm writing most days. So all in all I've found the book very helpful to get me started. Cheers Ed.

Helpful but still confused on things Well it's kindda helpful since now I think my songs are getting better but I wasn't able to understand composing yet... Still I'm thankful

I started using the one on one … I started using the one on one coaching sessions on The Song Foundry in March 2021. The Art of Songwriting The Art of Songwriting by Ed is the best book about creativity that I have ever read. Balancing theory, thinking and feeling in equal measure, really helps you to find your own way to approach songwriting, and to identify as a songwriter.
