I feel more confident I learned behavioral ques which i wasn't familiar with before. I had heard of stimming before as well but didn't know what it meant. Thanks to StreetCopTraning who encouraged Capt. Gerald to give out a few free courses. Half of my agency has already signed up for the training.

Informative, educational, passionate Mr. Turning is a great speaker/instructor. He is passionate about his field. He keeps listeners engaged. He shared personal experiences allowing others to understand the importance of autism; including, signs/symptoms and how to engage to provide care/comfort and treatment.

I learned a lot I had not previously… I learned a lot I had not previously heard about autism. Especially about the 'why' of different behaviors. The class was very well prepared and presented.

During this training, I found myself not only being more understanding, but I also found myself feeling more drawn to my Autistic students. This training has been an eye opener for me and I feel I have been given a personal insight in to my students’ lives. I always thought I “knew” my students , but I never really did.
