Essays for Virginia were good, and appreciated the use of old essays, although I still used a supplemental course specific for Va essays. Mbe questions were good although they were different than the ones I got on test day (not sure why this was). Overall a good experience.

Thorough and focused. Thorough and focused. Coverage and emphasis of the right areas of study for the Bar. Preferred this over broad dumping of info. Not a fan of the format of some of the written materials, but still good - better digital form would have helped a lot, and maybe a cross-reference structure between overlapping ideas

Thank you Barbri! I’ve studied a 40-week course for SQE1 with Barbri. I passed both parts of the exam on the first attempt and I’m extremely grateful to Barbri. I passed! I solely used Barbri to prepare for the July 2023 bar exam. The best feature is the planner. I am not good at planning a study schedule, but Barbri prepared a daily schedule of lectures and routine practices. I loved the lecturers and the constant MBE drilling, as well as the solid essay model answers. If you just stick to Barbri’s daily schedule, you’ll pass.

SQE prep Barbri provide short but engaging lectures on the materials covered in SQE 1. My learning coach was so helpful and I could book an appointment with her at any time she was available however many times you need. You get physical as well as online books which is great and you can search and highlight in the online books. They have lots of multiple choice questions and a few mocks that you can practice before the exams. The PSP guided you with how much time you need to study each week to stay on top and the progress reports tell you which subjects you need to work on. I did feel after sitting the exams the questions were a little easier than the actual exams and I think the fact patterns in Barbris sample questions could be more detailed and longer. The updates document was helpful but I did feel like updates came a little late and the document was unorganised. I would recommend students to study with Barbri based on my experience.
