GBMarco A Marco A. Peralta-Ochoa was extremely committed and helpful! Marco not only took the time and was extremely patient, he was a wealth of knowledge in helping being out the best of the student’s achievements. He was courteous, respectful and most important was a great listener. He reminded our student on every deadline, and followed up promptly. Marco makes your student get the job done and the students end up putting the effort. Marco exceeded our expectations in every way and would highly recommend Marco to anyone interested in discussing college admissions coach.

GBThey do a great job teaching the… They do a great job teaching the non-math parts of the SAT. However, when it comes to the math lessons they struggle to fully teach the required knowledge. Interestingly though, their after-lesson quizzes will quiz some of this harder material. It is somewhat annoying to have to teach yourself in these moments though when you spend 500 dollars on a course.

GBMeh. Not impressed We tried PrepScholar with both of our kids. With my first, she said the program kept telling her that she needed to do practice tests. She kept taking practice tests.. and that was it. I asked for help from PrepScholar but only got an email saying that it's a great program, and she needs to keep working. She could work for hours and get no credit. It's easy to not pay a money-back guarantee when you control the conditions and can make fulfilling those conditions impossible. By studying free videos on the internet, she was able to get more help and improved her score by about 40 points. With my second, I'm more involved. I thought this would help me understand the program more as I'm walking through it with him. Maybe my first just.. didn't use the program properly. He hasn't been given any practice SATs yet, but he could spend an hour on a lesson and be given credit for 0.6 hours. At this point, we don't care about refunds, just help with the SAT please. Control over your learning and the settings is weird. I can't figure out how to change things like 'goal number of hours to study a week.' All in all, as an educator and a programmer, I'm not impressed. The price is too high for the level of instruction that I'm seeing. tldr; Meh. Try it if you want but know that you won't get your money back. If you throw $400 at it, spend it like you are lending it to that cousin you know will never pay you back.. just let it go.

GBPrepScholar review PrepScholar has been really helpful with helping me get ahead on applying for college and stand out as an applicant. I have learned lots about what I can do to get ahead and my counselor, Dominique, has been especially helpful as a supportive. She is much more helpful and knowledgeable than the counselors at my school. Without her and the company I wouldn’t be where I am today and be able to get so much help and guidance.

GBMy Overall Success with the PrepScholar Program I have just received a 1510 on my SAT when my original goal was a 1500. Overall, the PrepScholar Program was very useful because of the text and video lessons, the quizzes, and the tutors. My tutor, Paul Dueck, helped me review my practice tests, taught me concepts I had trouble with, and gave me many other resources to help me succeed in my goals. This program was helpful for me and I couldn't be happier with my progress.
