GBIncredibly versatile I am impressed with how many different dietary styles are accommodated by Real Plans. I think the common denominator is “real” food. It’s whole foods, in whatever style you choose. I myself have used the Paleo, Vegan, Classic, and GAPS styles. Real Plans is very versatile and perfect for our family. There are so many customization and automated options that it has taken me a long time to utilize them all. Basically, if you do something specific with your meal planning (like pancake Saturday mornings), there are settings to automate that. Pretty awesome. The only complaint I have is that I love to pre-plan a month’s meals at a time, but you can only do three weeks at a time, and it’s a bit difficult to do so because the app likes to reset you to the current week. Also, as I go along and want to tweak my settings, usually any tweaking requires you to erase all future planned meals, which keeps me from changing things to accommodate our schedule better. But overall, best meal planning app I’ve ever used. You can also upload and enter your own recipes or online recipes. Time consuming, but helpful for planning family favorites.

GBMostly very good stuff Mostly very good stuff, very well done. However, some recipes call for "shredded beef" or similar, without factoring in cook the beef. Or the recipe provides a marinade but not the meat to marinade in it (which means you have to put another recipe in place to make sure you also buy the meat. Also, frequently, the recipe proportions are wayyyyy off. Often buy way too much food, even after I cut things in half, especially produce quantities. There are also some recipes where things just don't work, like the raspberry scones where one egg is supposed to be used as a glaze, but the mixture at that point in the recipe is too soft to apply a glaze to. Lastly, it can be finicky to add recipes to the plan. but generally a good tool we continue to use every week.

GBRefuses to refund or pro-rate… Refuses to refund or pro-rate subscriptions even on the day of renewal. Shady practice. If the product was so good, they wouldn't behave this way. Think twice before using this expensive ($19/month) product as you'll likely be paying more than you planned. The product itself worked well, though the amount of recipes is incredibly limited unless, of course, you pay twice as much per month to have access to a recipe pack. This is a $2.99-quality service relying on forced renewals of $19 for profits
