Christine Lozada is such an inspirational badass Christine Lozada is such an inspiration! Her beginner drone course is FREE. That really helped me take the leap into learning about flying drones. Sometimes you may not want to financially commit to something when you're just starting to learn about it. This course has made learning fun and easy for me and I appreciate it so very much. I had no idea I would even be interested in flying drones until I heard Christine's perspective on viewing the world in this way. If you have any fears like crashing your drone, flying it somewhere illegal, etc. this course will put your mind at ease and inspire you to get started!!

I’ve been wanted to learn how to fly a… I’ve been wanted to learn how to fly a drone for a while now and had no idea where or how to start. I found Christine and I’ve started watching her free videos and I feel like it’s so doable now. I love her enthusiasm and her sense of humor. I can’t wait to do her course.

Awesome Intro Course to Droning...Truly Grateful to CL After watching Christine's many informative and entertaining YouTube videos about droning, I decided to take her Intro course and felt much more at ease with exploring my new DJI Mini2 and taking the TRUST exam through The Pilot Institute/ Christine has a way of empowering the viewer and diffusing a bit of the anxiety that comes with being a newbie! I look forward to learning more from her Advanced course and prepping for the FAA 107 License.

I am so happy I found this course I am so happy I found this course. I am just getting started and I love her approachable fun way to present flying drones in the course. I am looking forward to doing more courses from her. It is especially great to be taught by a woman!

Gave me the confidence and tools to get out and FLY! Christine's YouTube videos gave me the inspiration to even get started with drones, and the teaching videos she has there were clear and concise. When I finally decided to buy a Mini 3 Pro, I checked out a few courses before purchasing but kept coming back to hers. She has a fun, approachable style on YT and I knew that's what I wanted in a course. The 101 course was just right for me being brand new to drones. The videos are digestible and well organized. My favorite part was the flying section where she gives exercises that build on each other (and help build muscle memory) for your first flight. This was SO helpful and made me feel pretty confident flying even as a complete newbie. I do have the RC controller with the Mini 3 Pro, so there were a few places where I didn't need the info (how to attach the phone to the controller) but it was pretty easy to skip or figure out how it applied differently. I also have an Android, so I couldn't do the flight simulator piece. My only small piece of feedback is to please treat Android and iPhone users equally by mentioning options/instructions for both wherever you're talking about smartphones. (For example, the editing is walked through on an iPhone and from experience I know it's very similar to Android, so just a mention that you've walked through the same process on an Android and it's very similar would be very appreciated. If there are any big differences, showing the process in a video would be helpful.) To be fair, this is a common frustration I have with courses/teaching from creators who use iPhones, but it's always a bit alienating. This was just a couple of small places in the course though, and the vast majority was excellent and highly applicable no matter what phone or controller you're using. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this course and would highly recommend it to anyone brand new to drones. I'm looking forward checking out the advanced course as well!
