Don't waste your money! In 2018 I signed up for the Sylvie McCrackens EBook Engines 8 week course. It is still the worst mistake I have made to date. The course was 8 weeks long and consisted of short weekly pre-recorded online videos, and a weekly online group session with Sylvie. During the 8 weeks you are expected to reach certain milestones pre-set by Sylvie and her team. You are given the opportunity to send in "help tickets" as often as you like, but it typically took 2 days to get a response. During the weekly group session with Sylvie, you will get a max of 10-15 mins to ask her questions about your progress. You also get access to a private FB group where you can ask other members for guidance or encouragement. All of this would be totally fine if the price tag was reasonable for what you are getting, but in my opinion, it is far from that. The course I took was and insane $7,000 for the 8 weeks. For that kind of money you can hire a personal business coach. Someone who is working with you 1 on 1 the entire time. In this course you get maybe 2 hrs of 1 on 1 (in a group setting) time with Sylvie total for the entire 8 weeks!! And all of the information that she provides to you in the "modules" is something that people are giving away for free on many YouTube videos. In my opinion, there is nothing that her course provides that you can't find on your own for free on the internet. In addition to the insane price tag, the sales tactics used to get you to sign up for the program were appalling in my opinion. I was told that I had to make a decision right there and then on the phone or the price would go up to $13,000!!!!! I was made to feel like saying no would be the biggest mistake of my life. When I said I couldn't commit to the price, I felt bullied into signing up for the program. Think timeshare or car salesman experience. If her services are so amazing, and what she is offering is so valuable, then she shouldn't have to utilize these tactics to get clients. Since posting my review on Yelp last year, I have gotten multiple messages from other disappointed people telling me that they wished they had seen my review prior to signing up. There are now more reviews on Yelp from other people with similar complaints. If I hadn't been so desperate to find a way of reaching the "American Dream", then I would have never fallen victim to this experience. I felt like my desperation and vulnerability was prayed upon and used against me. I can only hope that my reviews will help other people avoid the mistake that I made. Back then there were no reviews available, and I was the first one to speak up. Because I complained I was removed from the FB group, and my access to all course materials was denied. So I was left with a $7000 payment and nothing to show for it. I tried to share my grievances with Sylvie and ask for at least a partial refund for the program, but I was denied. When I complained about feeling like the program was falsely advertised, all communication was directed to her lawyer, which I believe was meant to intimidate me. It was made clear that my signing of the contract prior to starting the program left no room for complaints or reimbursement. The only purchase I have ever made in my life where a business could have cared less about my grievances, and refused to make things right. Do your research before considering any services from her. And I second other reviews saying to double and triple check the contract that she makes you sign. It is her get out of jail ticket!

disappointed I honestly never leave critical reviews, but in this case it feels warranted. I finished Sylvie McCracken's Courses for Health Professionals a few months ago and was very disappointed in my experience. At $7500, I really expected a lot more and higher quality content and coaching. I'll say first that there is some value and helpful tips in the content, and it does appear that some of her students have success, I personally regretted the purchase. There was almost no support on actual content creation, just one very brief video on making a slideshow. I personally wanted a lot more in this area. You basically end up getting about 10-15 minute sound bites from coaches each week (in addition to live group calls) which has *some* value but not what I would have expected for so much money. Similarly, I found the modules to be a bit minimal in the content they provided and you do not have access to them after the program ends ( I knew this ahead of time) There is only one type of marketing technique on one platform taught, and the tactic didn't really resonate with me, and I had a hard time getting high quality answers or alternatives in any of the coaching on this. She recycled videos and coaching calls from older programs, so I had to fast forward through irrelevant q+a's from other programs, she even repurposed a coaching q+a call from when I was enrolled and then presented part of that same call as content in a later module that hadn't been released yet. by the time I was ready to start creating or marketing my course (and I did fall a bit behind because I moved in the middle of program) the program was over. the program would have been better structured for me if we had worked on course creation and marketing from the start, perhaps they have made improvements in this area. again, some ppl seem to like and get a lot out of this program, so decide for yourself. Part of the issue for me was that the strategies didn't end up being the right fit for me personally, but that could be totally different for someone else. The team did reach out and offer additional access to the program and coaching when they found out I wasn't satisfied, so that speaks volumes to the fact that they want to deliver success. It also looks like they've added 1:1 coaching sessions to the program which would be a huge improvement from what my experience was.
