Has more padding than other acupressure… Has more padding than other acupressure mats. The shape of the discs are flower shaped. Each one resembles a flower that looks like it is starting to blossom. The tip of each flower petal is triangular shaped, which serves as the point of contact on your skin. I had been used to an acupressure mat that had disks of very tiny pyramid points against my back and I had gotten so used to this configuration that I couldn't really feel the tingling sensation on my back anymore. I could sleep on it all night and it wouldn't bother me. But the flower petal configuration on the Artree acupressure mat definitely provides more surface area contact on my back and does hurt a little bit on my back, esp. as it is brand new. I have to wear a thin shirt to lay down on it for an extended period of time and I can definitely feel more than a tingling sensation. Plus the plastic used to make these flower petal disks does feel a little bit harder compared to the plastic on the other older acupressure mat that I had been using. So this new version is definitely better in the sense that it offers more padding and more pressure points on the skin than any older versions out there. If you are brand new to this type of product, an older version may be better for you as it may be easier for you to tolerate than the newer version.

Great after long day at the office This is a perfect product for those of us who spend their days in front of the computer (just like I do). I use it for my back sitting in the office and it makes the pain from my lower back go away. The only drawback I can think of - I keep having my co-workers coming up to my desk all the time, asking me about the mat and distracting me from work;)

Great Product! First of all, this mat and pillow set is a great quality and already helped me so much! I have a very intense work and it is a long day for me to be standing on my feet and after when I use mat to relax my back pain and tension go away.
