GBI was skeptical going in I was skeptical going in. Wasn't really sure I could make the necessary changes. For the first few weeks, I was still a little resistant, trying to do things the way I'd always done them. By the end of the 6 weeks though, I had made some key small steps in the right direction and felt more motivated than I have in a long while. I went back to the basics and Coach Andres was very helpful all along the way. I love how the program is setup: the detailed check-ins, feedback, and the holistic approach where they target your mindset, movement, stress, sleep patterns, etc. I also love that it's not a quick approach to weight loss.....while I only lost a couple pounds, I know that I gained several good habits (lower caffeine intake, higher water intake, not skipping breakfast, acknowledging small wins, tracking my higher protein breakfast...) for moving forward this week and beyond. The team at Planos we fantastic throughout my programme and I am very grateful to them for their personalised approach. We firstly assessed my goals which included learning more about nutrition so I could better prioritise my health. And I also had aesthetic and performance goals which varied along my 6 month programme according to life events and athletic pursuits. My coach adapted my plans to help me meet my mini-goals which arose over the 6 months and always kept me informed about the reasons for certain changes. This meant I learnt new skills and knowledge about nutrition which I feel confident to use after the programme to support me with my future lifestyle and goals. I also really enjoyed the progress of having a coach who was not only knowledgeable but kind and great to catch-up with. A really great experience which I think would be suitable for all kinds of people who want to meet all kinds of different goals including weight loss, body composition change, health and performance-related improvements.

GBIncredible journey and it's just the beginning! What an incredible start to my renewed way of life! Working with the team at Planos, specifically Coach Dana, has been transformative in more ways than one. I was hesitant to sign on at first because I didn’t want my life to drastically change. Not to mention, as a stay-at-home dad with two young girls, my needs rarely come first. Yet after buying my first XXL shirt and with the full support of my wife, we made the decision to invest in our health and general wellbeing. At the beginning of the 6-month program I was weighing in at 236 pounds, was not comfortable taking my shirt off, and all around unhappy with where I was in life. What I quickly found was that this program was not a quick fix, or a diet, or something that I could commit only 5 minutes a day to. Now weighing in at 204 pounds, fully confident in my body, and with a rejuvenated outlook on the future I can reflect on this journey of 32 pound weight loss. Planos revitalized my day-to-day thinking as well as how I approach nutrition for myself and my family. They did this by getting me into the right mindset, educating me with nutritional information, and making sure I continued my “marathon” no matter the pace. I fully committed to finding a better way to live, a healthier way, focusing on being 1% better every day and as I reach the end of the program it feels more like a new beginning.
