Worth every penny! Booked a home inspection with Matt on the day of our completion. We were already thoroughly disappointed with what we could see at the handover. Matt was meticulous. He produced our report which identified over 280 defects with our new home. Some of the defects were to be expected whilst others were larger issues which didn’t fall under a snag category, it was just very very poor work. We produced this to the building company who were less than impressed and we are now on with the arduous task of getting all the issues put right. Matt isn’t there to try his best to find issues with your home, and in all honesty I would have been happy to pay the money and there be minimal issues with my home, but I am so glad we did spend the money and had a proper report produced and we now know exactly what the issues are and what we as customers should and shouldn't accept. I can not recommend his services enough. He is in the trade and knows what goes on and what builders try to get away with. Matt has been available to speak with if there have been any further queries we have had as well. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend We were recommended Hodgins Inspections by someone else on the same estate and I'm glad we did. He was extremely thorough and spent a long time in each room ensuring he spotted all snags. His final report came through promptly and it was very detailed with photos to make everything easy to identify. Communication was very good from beginning. We booked our survey/inspection with Hodgins New Home Inspections We booked our survey/inspection with Mat for the day after we received the keys to our new home. He is very personable and is very easy to talk to about any concerns that you have. On the day of the inspection he was there at the time agreed and started a thorough inspection immediately. His attention to detail is unbelievable and he identified problems that I would not have noticed. He produced a list of 162 faults, some very minor but quite a number which require attention asap. His report is very easy to read and I will be making arrangements to forward a copy to the builders. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any new home purchaser, as you then have the piece of mind that all faults have been identified and are awaiting action. Trevor
