Excellent solution We live in a region where window screens are not common (crazy!!) and have a massive patio door out to our balcony and standardly available screen sizes wouldn’t fit. The casing is aluminium so magnetic screens won’t work either. Our other 2 patio doors are the size of single garage doors so I was able to find an easy solution for those, but the big one is like 9 feet tall and 11 feet wide with the door opening on one side rather than the middle. This custom one fits great and i was able to have the split in it be about 3 feet from one side rather than centred. A word of caution though - make sure you double and triple measure and make sure your husband reads the instructions before installation!

No bugs are allowed to come in I am very satisfied with this product, at beginning I just didn’t set too high expectations, I thought: okay, let’s try. But now, I love it. It fits perfectly to my door without damaging the original woods. Unbelievable is the magnetic power which closed immediately and perfectly when my son went out or in. It’s no chance for the flies or bugs to come in. I strongly recommend this product. But make sure it fits your door.

The Tie-backs Help! It’s a good product and worth the tiny bit of extra money. I previously had a magnetic screen that held up fairly well, but after so many openings with packages in hand and the door lock to put the key in, it ripped from the strain. This type of screen is lightweight and not made to last like a traditional screen door. But this one has several good features — strong magnets for good closure, sturdy borders around the mesh and, best of all, the tie-backs. Much easier to go in and out with armloads and to get the key in the door without tugging one side of the screen

Great investment We had to replace a smaller more affordable version because it kept falling down and the magnets wouldn’t stay latched. This one fits the patio doors and stands up to the dogs pawing when he says ‘hi’. Easy to install and the magnets are strong and quiet when they connect.
