GBGreat customer service! We had ordered the mushroom sconces through Vakkerlighting. Although they sadly didn’t work with the design of our apartment after all I was very impressed with their customer service. Miya messaged me back immediately trying to offer solutions and was super helpful. The light was beautiful we were sad we couldn’t keep it but very pleased with how easy Miya made the whole process. Will absolutely be purchasing lights with vakkerlight in the future.

CANeat product Neat product, loving it, I purchased it for my family room, but it took a better spot over by dining table. Miya voluntarily credited me back the 10% discount available for first time buyers which I did not avail while placing the order. Much appreciated!!

GBGood experience with Ava wall sconces Ordered Ava wall sconces -- overall brass quality was great, the alabaster shades were chipped but they acted quickly to replace them. Shades were a little less three-dimensional than I imagined from the photos but still a very nice product, looking forward to installing it.

GBI adore these compact lamps I adore these compact lamps, and we use them as bedside lighting. They're a breeze to assemble and come with dimming capabilities. Since we have a tendency to accidentally knock over regular table lamps on our nightstands, these wall-mounted lamps are a smart solution. They also free up more space on the night table, which is a plus. Another added benefit is that I can adjust their direction. So, when one person is sleeping and the other needs light, the illumination won't disturb the early sleeper as much.

GBThey don't stand by their products or return policy Update: I have changed my 1 star to a 2 star because Martin, Vakker's Customer Service Manager, reached out to facilitate rectifying the situation. He offered me what is essentially what their return policy states so I was able to get a refund for both light fixtures. To my surprise they also told me I could keep the fixtures, which are still more or less unusable but I appreciated the gesture. Miya however, continues to be pushy about making sure I amend my reviews which I don't appreciate but I'm a woman of my word and I told them I would revise my honest reviews to contain more current information. I'm a designer in their trade program and unfortunately I will NEVER be ordering lighting from them again. I ordered one chandelier from them and it was great, though it did need to be put together which was surprising but I suspect that is how they keep their costs down, which I understand and is fine. I also ordered the Eivor Wall Lamp from them, and while esthetically its beautiful, the light output is no more than a small night light. when I reached out to their customer service they recommended that I get a brighter bulb for it, BUT with this fixture the light bulb is literally glued in and cannot be removed! Why a manufacturer would make a light fixture where you can't replace the bulb is absolutely beyond me! But they said that since the the light still functions and that since we have "used" it they wont replace it (even thought the light was so dim it needed to be taken down right after putting it up they considered that used). After much back and forth and practically begging for them to help me they finally told me they would replace it with a different fixture "free of charge". Well when it came time to order the new fixture Miya from customer support sent me a link to my invoice and it was definitely not "free of charge", they ended up discounting the new fixture 30%. I did offer to pay the difference but with the 30% discount I ended up paying significantly more than the difference. But by this time I was over it, so I paid for it and hoped that this new fixture would be better. It was not. I ordered the Zachary Wall Lamp and unfortunately this too was a hunk of junk. It also came in pieces and the assembly instructions are minimal but the real issue is the smaller glass dome doesn't fit properly on the fitting and just kind of wobbles around loosely on the fixture. I again reached out to Miya and sent multiple videos demonstrating the issue only to get back this email: "Thank you for your response. We have consulted with our factory regarding your installation method. Based on our assessment, we can confirm that your installation method is correct and aligns with the design of the light. The glass component you mentioned is suitable for use, and any shaking or movement should not affect its functionality or use. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to assist you and ensure your satisfaction with our product." So now I get to tell my client once again that we will need to find another light fixture somewhere else. All in all, while their lighting is beautiful and a great price, its poorly made and if something inevitably goes wrong you will be 100% on the hook for it. As a designer I pride myself in the relationships I build with vendors, and very rarely will I leave a negative review but this is just too much. So RUN as far as you can from Vakker Lighting.
