GBIt's just OK. I received a notification out of the blue to review Email On Acid, so decided to take up the opportunity. It's OK. When it works, it works well. There are days where it will repeatedly crash for hours at a time rendering it unusable. Whenever I've raised this with Support I’ve been fobbed off. It works on a screenshot model, rather than live renders, and I appreciate that development limitations are likely the reason for this, but it means correcting errors in your code is hugely guesswork and the repeated rendering of imagery is tedious. I do all of my corrections externally as a result and only use EoA to check the output. In fact, none of the other features of EoA appeal to me at all, so it was staggering that my monthly bill DOUBLED overnight recently. The only reason I remain a customer is that despite the price hike they’re still cheaper than competitors.

GBVery disappointing company ethics I had a free trial which I forgot to cancel and was charged $179 for. I canceled my subscription on the day I was charged and have since tried to contact the company via email, phone, Twitter and their contact form - with no response whatsoever. I obviously understand that this is my own mistake for not cancelling in time but would have expected the company to be more forthcoming - or to at least reply to any of my requests. Quite sad to see that their business relies on such shady tactics, rather than customers who actually want to use their product.

SGAlways a relief to know what our emails… Always a relief to know what our emails look like on multiple platforms/OS. Would be great if there were suggestions on how to adjust the HTML code when the design looks different on certain OS (e.g. iphone X) though.

GBThe price just keeps going up and up The price just keeps going up and up. They say it’s because of new features that they keep adding, but as a dev I just want to test the email rendering and don’t need any of the other features. They are forcing unneeded features onto the users and are charging them. EOA, you need to offer different packages. As a freelancer, £100 a month is just not affordable just to test a few emails per month. I don’t want your other features, stop forcing and charging me for them, please!

GBIt is not always consistent with… It is not always consistent with showing correctly once it has been sent to the recipients. Everything shows as it should for the sender but once submitted it is almost like it breaks for some of the devices.
