GBAvoid - product is a light up piece of plastic no heat. I’m in the UK I purchased the Tymo Porta Pro, it is a light up piece of plastic no heat whatsoever from the minute it came out of the box. customer services make you send a series of videos for review and then come back to say they think it has some effect. However if I ran a fork through my hair it would have more of an effect. My only options are $10 credit or return at cost to myself.

FRTYMO PORTA PRO malfunction within 28days Like many others with a negative experience my TYMO PORTA PRO worked correctly the first time I used it. To clarify I have fine grey long hair prone to frizzing. I was pleased with the first time results. But … Then I charged the device. It took 5 hours to charge with a 20W charger. The PORTA PRO has never got back to the heat experienced the first time I used it. Now my hair gets barely warm on the first setting, and only slightly better on the second and third settings. I have sent a 1.56 minute video clearly showing and stating the above plus I have sent emails describing the situation. Customer service staff respond very quickly with a persistent request to send more videos. However even though I have asked there is no clarification of exactly what more is required from me in another video. A list of bullet points would be helpful. There’s no description of what was missing from the first video. I have had this product less than 28 days. So I feel that this is money I should have spent elsewhere. I will not be recommending this to anyone.

GBI love the Tymo Curlgo! I love the Tymo Curlgo! This product really works! My favorite part is that it is cordless and it makes it effortless when trying to curl your hair! My mom (a hairdresser) was also impressed! Definitely recommend this professional feeling product!

GBBe cautious of this company The TYMO Porta is great when it’s working, but unfortunately it rarely is. I’ve gone from having a malfunctioning item, to an item that doesn’t work at all. I’ve been communicating with TYMO since March, which has been a painful process, with them asking me to send multiple videos before they ‘accept’ the item for return (they still haven’t). I also wrote them an honest company review, which they don’t seem to have authorised to appear on their website. Please be cautious of this company, their customer service is really poor, and you may end up losing money.

GBAfter watching many videos of this… After watching many videos of this straightener I finally decided to try it. My only regret was not having purchased it sooner. What used to take me over 20 minutes to to hair now only takes about 5 minutes!!!! And with the TYMO Airflow 2 in 1 I can choose to straighten or curl my hair with 1 tool. And curling doesn't take any longer than straightening does!! I love love love my TYMO!!! Next purchase will be the hair dryer!
