GBI use splat hair dye all the time and… I use splat hair dye all the time and Inormally normally have no problems. Except that the Artic Blue hair color packet i ordered 2 of was extremely liquidy and very runny and did not color my hair to that color

GBIntense Ultramarine Blue with Midnight Indigo Beautiful, deep, saturated ultramarine blue. I can leave it on as little or as much as I like, to achieve lighter or deeper tones. Love this product. I use the NO-Bleach kit; that's only the dye, nothing else. Best color on the market, even next to Pravana. Pure blue, with no weird green or teal undertones. No ammonia. No peroxide. No damage. I do not lift my natural color. I use it over the top. Since I've got natural silver highlights, it ends up looking like I spent a fortune (for around ten bucks). It will stain things, so use protection: gloves, body apron, counter cover, floor cover, etc. It will stain your shower as well. Be careful bleaching your tiles over time. It makes them porous, so I recommend using a utility sink (or hair sink if you have one, or slap a cover on your head and go get a rinse-out!) with a hand-held gentle sprayer. It settles in over a few weeks, and it stains pillowcases, etc., during this time, nso I use a towel, and it is completely worth it. The color is stunning. Sometimes it's fun to mix in a little Midnight Violet on the ends, too!

GBIt's been ten years ... I have been experimenting on my own hair with splat colors for about a decade now. It's true, bleaching splats not achievable, especially like in the videos where they JUST put the dye in. But if you're patient with waiting out the fade time it's easily liftable. If you are looking to commit to the color you're applying apply splat, I do know I do I used to even mix splat with ion color dyes or what ever Sally's threw at us. I know splat is supposedly fabric dye. But if wool is a fabric material... is hair not a fabric material? Don't use splat if you want to change colors fast and often. And if you do, pulling the color by mixing dandruff shampoo and a generous amount of powdered(or crushed) vitamin c. Use that as a hair mask for a couple hours rinse and repeat till the desired amount of dye is pulled. Me? I use the midnights collection on my lighted hair so I can have vibrant colors. And with cold washes and good hair care, the color lasts 6+ weeks in vibrant then just kinda dulls while still being the color.
