I was a customer from 2016 to 2024 I was a customer from 2016 to 2024. Billing issue when my bank placed Sfax on a list of potential threats. Before it was discovered, difficulties ensued. Unfortunately multiple emails to billing, tech support, and customer service yielded zero response. Left two voicemails. Never heard back. My fax did not work and I could not get through once locked out. It wasn’t about money or payment, it became a tale of avoidant customer service and neglect. I submitted a ticket to end services with my feedback attached, heard nothing. Received a canned email that my complaint was received and I would hear back in 48 hours. Week/s later it’s a second email that it’s cancelled. Truly one star as no amount of faxing interface would make this acceptable. I was never actually acknowledged.

Nonexistant support, incompetent staff Our experience with Sfax has been nothing but frustrating. E-mails to support on simple issues go unanswered. We tried to port our numbers over, but after 4 months the porting department seems to be unable to enter a port request properly even after being provided with a CSR from our current carrier. When we checked with our current carrier's port-out department, it looks like only half of the port requests are making it to them. We ported our voice numbers to a different vendor just before attempting to port our fax numbers and everything went fine. I'd recommend avoiding sfax or any j2 brand.

It works at a good price point. I work in the health field and providers still refuse to move away from fax. Since I run a nearly paperless company, setting up a fax system seemed like a step in the wrong direction. Enter sfax from Scrypt. Scrypt helped me understand my product options and choose one that was right for my company, it is very affordable, meets our security standards for medical data, and has never let us down.

So far so good We have been using sFax for a number of months now. It's working well except we are having a bit of trouble porting existing numbers which seems to take up to 2 weeks.
