GBYou have to track this company down to… You have to track this company down to get any response. The new place I was moving to required a COI which required certain coverages and when I received the document on the day of the move, the necessary coverages were not there and they refused to update their insurance policy. After arriving six hours late they concluded there wasn’t enough room on their truck to fit all of my belongings and they left. Never offering any other options. I informed Mega Van Lines of this and requested a refund. It has been 47 days and still now refund. Stay away.

GBMega Van Lines breached contract and told us we have to sue them Mega Van Lines breached contract and left us high and dry on our move three hours after our arrival window on the last moving day of the month on our lease. Someone told us we would get a refund, but we were later told that if we want our money back we have to sue them. They are withholding $1800 of our money, for services they could not provide, and breached contract, and then gave us false confirmation of a refund that later we were told we aren't getting. They are forcing us to take legal action. We do not deserve this, no one does. I have never worked with a company that is so unprofessional. Obviously we were upset that they breached contract. Obviously we were upset that they cancelled on us 3 hours after our arrival window because they hired movers who didn't have proper paperwork. I was literally in hysterical tears. I lived in an apartment building with moving guidelines and rules. Because of this cancellation we had to pay our building $300 to move into the late hours of the evening, and we had to pay a fortune for another company (DUMBO) to come save the day last minute. Mega Van Lines has cost us SO much money, extreme emotional damage, and now over a month after our move we still cannot get a single response from anyone at the company. They are quite literally screening us, and all we want is our money back. Which is the LEAST of what this company is really responsible for. They are not just responsible for our refund, but for the emotional damage they have caused on top of the cost we had to pay for other movers to help us in a pinch. I am truly advising that you do not choose this company. No one should have to go through what they are putting us through. I still cannot wrap my head around why they are acting spiteful. I keep saying to my husband, I don't understand..they breached contract they said that they were refunding us, why is this happening. And he said that the manager is being spiteful. The thing that is baffling to me, is that they have no right to be spiteful to us. We didn't do anything wrong. We provided everything they asked for and more. We told them what we needed days in advance. They chose to ignore those requests and when we asked their employees the days leading up to the move if they had everything and to provide us the documents since our building was asking, they literally shut us up and said "We do moves ALL the time in NYC and we know what we are doing so relax". I consider us to be reasonable people, who were reacting to a bad situation. So if they are spiteful because we were upset, they shouldn't be running a business. They have an opportunity now to make this right and issue us our refund. I don't want to sue them... I just moved into a house, I am grieving the loss of my dad and uncle who both passed away two weeks before our move, and I just want to move on and be done with this. But we need the money. We need our money. Please do the right thing Mega Van Lines. I am begging you.

GBFirst contact the Mega van Line… First contact the Mega van Line company. which gave me an estimate. Then this Fair and Square Transportation company that went to pick up my things on November 12, 2020 at the address texas to Florida. Mr. Indrek and his youngest son packed my things. Mr. Inderek was hostile to me at all times. He banged on the dining room table several times. I was alone in this process at all times. After she took my merchandise he sent me a new invoice for a higher cost than the one that had been indicated in the first moment. After several calls in which he proposed delivery, Mr. Indrek arrived on Saturday 21 at 3 pm in a hostile and aggressive manner demanding the money before delivering my things. I was very scared and called 911. I went to meet him at the entrance of my building and he hit my car several times. The person who was on the phone line contacted the police. After the police arrived, I explained the hostile treatment they were giving me from Texas. To the point that it had made me cry in Texas.The police spoke to him but he insisted that I had to hear before delivering my things. I asked the police to accompany me in the process but they said it was a civil case and there was nothing they could do.Mr. Inderek demanded the amount of 1856.30 from meI was able to make an oor zelle transfer for the amount of $ 1000 dollars but this system did not allow me to make the remaining amount.Then he asked me for my debit card number, which he wrote down the full number and the three numbers on the back on a piece of paper from his company.He didn't have internet to finish this process and I asked him to go to the ATM together. but he wanted to leave my move on the street without protection while we went to the ATM. Then I realized that a box was missing where my gun was. And I told him that I couldn't leave the boxes outside because I had a firearm in one of the boxes. I also told him that I didn't see the box in the truck. He said he didn't have that box and I showed him the photo where it was evidenced the day he was moving.Then I started crying and he started kicking my boxesThen he called the police and told him that I wanted to hurt myself and him.The police said they would go to the ATM to look for the rest of the money and they did not. They took me on patrol to a mental hospital. On Sunday morning the psychiatrist released me. He said that I had nothing and that he was going to solve the problem for me.So I went on Monday to make a complaint based on all this and the police did not. He called Mr. Indrek and he demanded payment to make the final delivery. But this time for the amount of $1306.25 From the first problem I contacted Mr. Armando from the Mega Van Line company but he did not want to answer and blocked my phone number. Mr. Inderek only answered that someone else give me the move and coordinate a new date. Please I need help with all this abuse. Leslie Paredes
