AUDidn't advise of their partners requirement prior to booking Didn't advise of their partners requirement - a physical plastic credit card - so when we went to pick up car from SixT they wouldn't accept a credit card on a phone and refused to provide car. We were then left to cancel the booking with RentalCar.com (which had been made 90 minutes earlier) and they refused to provide a refund.

GBBuyer beware Buyer beware! I had traveled for my brother’s surgery and rented a Hertz car through Rentalcars.com because they showed the best daily rate. The surgery got cancelled so I didn’t need the car for the full time I reserved and returned it to Hertz four days early. Rentalcars.com has fine print that says you will pay the number of reservation days even if you don’t use all of them. If I had booked directly from Hertz, they told me they only charge for the actual days you have the car even if it was reserved longer. There were also additional airport fees I had to pay Hertz direct upon return that were not in what I paid carrentals.com, so the price quoted me when I made reservation was less than what I had to pay in total even if I had kept the car for the full number of days reserved. Read their fine print carefully! I will never book through them again, after learning this lesson the hard way!

GBWe have found Carrentals.com to be an…Good experience We have found Carrentals.com to be an efficient way to book a rental car at a reasonable price and most important, we have not had a problem finding a car to rent through them. When I went on to rental company individual website, many times, they had no available cars.

GRWorst platform ever Worst platform ever! stay away from this rental cars.com website which is btw a partner of booking.com. Completely disorganised & unethical. Book with the car hire companies directly instead of being ripped off by rental cars.com aka booking.com rent a car. Horrible really horrible deals!

GRRentalcars.com if you know it you Avoid it! Rentalcars.com is a booking.com unit based in UK with global BPO partners. I would like to bring to the attention of the users of this platform the company's total lack of ethics towards both customers & employees. Rentalcars.com in particular is a platform that, believe me, you would never ever use, had you worked for them. You as a customer may find apparent good deals but you'll pay them dearly in case of any trivial detail goes wrong just because you missed to read that small clause in that almost hidden paragraph on the online platform. My suggestion would be to book directly with the car rental company.
