Wedding Bus Rental Experience We hired a 56 person bus for our wedding with Kings Charter . The staff was very friendly and helpful but I often had long waits and difficulties with communication- change in the itinerary and follow up with the driver's information prior to the event. The driver, Daniel was amazing! We accidentally hired a bus that was to big for our ceremony site. He was able to problem solve in the moment and skillfully and confidently navigate a tricky situation. He was our wedding superhero! Thank you!

Trustworthy and friendly company but dated vehicle I am a tour manager in the music industry (been on the road for 20+ years), and for my most recent tour none of my regular vendors had availability so I rented a tourbus via Kings Charter, a company previously unknown to me and any colleague I asked. They were quick to respond, provided photos of the bus upon request as well as references from previous customers. They were then very keen for me to confirm, chased me up regularly via email and text message, first for confirmation, later for payment (starting one day after I received the invoice) and finally for a review. They asked for full payment in advance but were open to my request of paying the balance after the bus picked us up. The bus that did pick us up was not the same as the one in the pictures, it was a bit older and some of the bunk lights did not work (or weren't even there, and had some wires sticking out of the wall instead) but otherwise everything worked fine. The driver was quite the character and hit the rumble strips a LOT, but he was friendly and easygoing. The beds were comfortable and clean. All in all: they are a trustworthy company but don't expect a new bus.

We had a small issue with generator but Kings got it resolved instantly and we enjoyed rest of the tour without any issues. Driver was professional and the complimentary dinner was amazing. Will definitely use their services again

Kings Charter steals the driver tips We chartered 4 buses from KingsCharter one month ago. KingsCharter did not use their own buses. Instead they contracted the buses from other companies. Normally we pay the drivers their gratuity directly. However, Kings told us that we would need to pay them the gratuity and it would be paid to the companies they contracted with to go to the drivers. This seemed odd. It also seemed odd when they asked for $1500/driver for a 4 day trip. We obviously said that was ridiculous and eventually they settled on $600/driver which was still high but we accepted it. We cut a check to Kings Charter on top of what we were paying for the buses to go to the drivers. I was suspicious of what was going on and stayed in contact with the drivers. They never received their tips. I continued to call Kings over the span of a month about why the drivers had not been paid and every time I was given a different story and told they would look into it and get back to me. They never did. Finally, they blocked our calls and we have been forced to take legal action against them. Kings Charter are a bunch of hucksters who stole the tips of a bunch of hard working drivers and I would recommend looking elsewhere before hiring them.
