I received 1 on 1 training from Gold… I received 1 on 1 training from Gold Star Logistics Group. Tawana Randall’s course is comprehensive and laid out the steps I needed to start my business structure or LLC, and all the software I needed to set up my business. I really like how she is focused on taking care of the driver! She shares her templates with you as well. Anyone who comes in this business through her will operate in the same Carrier first mentality which will help us in the long run as we foster relationships with our carriers. The best part about the training is she is available for questions and responds in a timely manner. She also has is also a group that shares information and helps our when you have questions. I am happy I took her course!

A Wealth of Knowledge Working with Gold Star Logistics Group has been life changing. I initially started learning about the transportation business by helping my husband start his company, but after working with Tawana and her crew, I've learned so much and feel empowered as a black woman in the industry. I took Tawana's dispatching course around June 2021. We purchased our truck in July and trailer in August. Tawana guided us throughout the entire process giving us insight on how to best invest our money. Since then, we've hired a driver and after initially working with a GSL dispatcher, are now dispatching ourselves. I learned most of what I know about setting up our company from Tawana. She is a wealth of knowledge. She will always be a part of our family of mentors.

well put together! I ordered the Dispatcher workbook and it was an easy read! A lot of vocabulary words to help know the acronyms used in the trucking business. The quiz was helpful to make sure you understood what you read. I’m looking forward to attending an in person conference. I am sure Ms Tawana will be dropping gems!!! Great job!!!

I was new in the industry wanted to… I was new in the industry wanted to start out brokering took a training and was still lost in the sauce . After a few months I said let me try something different , I started following Gold Star on social media signed up for training . This was one of the best investments I’ve made.
