Very solid mount and made of quality… Very solid mount and made of quality materials. Holds in whatever position I put it in, and stays stuck to the dash very well. Has a very nice and universal mount for the phone, or whatever you decide to put in it. Yes it's overkill for very light GoPro set up but I enjoy knowing that the Carmount Heavy Duty Tech Mount will stand up fine.

This is a game changer!! This is a game changer! I have put one in 4 of my vehicles, and each one of them is even more useful with this! I bought two of these to mount an iPad… I bought two of these to mount an iPad mini in my car which can't be upgraded to Apple CarPlay. Having tried a couple of other types of dashboard mounts which were useless at holding the iPad mini securely without wobbling, these actually do the job they say they will. I placed one Carmount either side of the existing car display and the supplied magnets on the back of the iPad case. It is held in position really securely, no wobbling or movement at all, and is quick to attach the iPad onto. They are really discreet and don't interfere with the look of the dashboard. Definitely recommended!
