Just best to avoid this company Just best to avoid this company. It's a micro-managed assembly line outsourced sales nightmare. Anytime a company operates via "customer portal" with the exception of your medical care, don't walk, run. A design, engineering, construction and sales company can't operate like amazon! Breaking off human interaction and creating a web based robotic system to handle customers is ridicules. The entire industry needs to clean up its game. From false and misleading advertising, detrimental financial contracts, bogus promises to 3rd party outsourcing, solar has become a nightmare that 10's of thousands live every day! This company has done its share based on my review and thousands of others its only goal is to take your money and head down the road to the next victim.

Can't read "No Soliciting" signs Derek ignored THREE clearly posted "No Soliciting" signs on his way to ring my doorbell. I told him "No Soliciting" and he quickly played it off saying "I just wanted to let neighbors know we will be doing some work in the area." I said "Ok, I'm good with that." He commenced to try to sell me on Sunrun anyway. I told him that I have done my research on solar companies, and would like to own solar panels over renting, and I will be contacting the company of my choice when I decide to get solar panels. That company will not be Sunrun. My neighborhood also has a shared email list that we openly communicate through. I will be warning them about Sunrun, and hopefully they will be able to cancel their contracts.

Can't get into/open my Electrical Panel!! I am a senior citizen with a recent knee replacememt. Sun run wants me to sign a contract/ send pjctures and a video of the problem! They say I have to pay fo I A SENIOR CITIZEN/ HAVE HAD A RECENT KNEE REPLAXEMENT, I CAN'T ACCESS/OPEN MY ELECTRICAL PANEL SUNRUN WANTS A VIDEO/PICTURES, FOR ME TO SIGN A CONTRACT SAYING I WILL PAY FOR THE TEXCHNICIAN IF HE CAN OPEN THE PANEL. THIA IS A SERIOUS DANGEROUS SITUATION Bright Planet which are the technicians from Bakersfield that SunRun sent to my home were awfull they ripped my electrical panel out and took it. Then installed the incorrect panel and ripped the frame and damaged it! I HAVE TO PRY OPEN THE PANEL WITH A SCREW DRIVER ( Sent wrong picture) I have several pictures also, I can give names of who I had to deal with Sun Run is sending unqualified technicians from Bright Planet, they tried to intimidating tactics. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable with the majority of the technicians

Sunrun has antiquated data feeds and no access to real or near-time solar data Please release a live API so I can start monitoring my data in realtime like a big boy company. Or at the very least allow me to access my own SolarEdge data. Its been 2 years and it is very irritating and annoying. I can get my data from all my utility compaines but my solar company is providing some useless graphs or charts that my 8th grade team could produce. Note to SunRun #release the data in the form of an API or through the solar inverter company. This is ridiculous!

Disconnected sewer pump-6 months later no solar connection Going on our sixth month of having panels on the roof, but still not connected/fully installed. When they put the panels on the roof, the electrical installers removed our electrical connection to our sump pump/ejector pump which caused a sewer back in the home. Cost me an additional $2000 for any emergency pump, for which Sun Run still hasn’t reimbursed. They had their team come out and reconnect electrical connection to pump, but that’s not really good enough. I would avoid using Sun Run if I had the option to do this again. The only reason I worked with them was due to their connection with Costco, which, from my experience, chooses good vendors to work with. I will not be surprised if Costco discontinues this relationship moving forward.
