GBAwesome Partner Through the Hiring Process Before remotely, we had a massive problem with hiring. It was just me, my co-founder, and one other engineer, so hiring was difficult because it took up all of my time. Also, the obvious one, today's market it's highly competitive and challenging. We wanted to increase our pool of candidates, which in a remote world means expanding outside of the US; meanwhile, we also wanted to stay in a closer timezone. When understanding more about setting up an entity, we found it was super expensive. And then, more importantly, just having the right network would take a lot of time to build, and we're not well connected in other countries. Working with everyone within remotely has been really enjoyable. Loli and Horacio were super great throughout the hiring process, and Pau on helping us with our contracts and offers, all very responsive.
