GBWE ONLY HAD ONE DAY IN PARIS AND WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE !!!!! Our cruise included an opportunity to spend a day in "gay Paree ". Booked and paid for a private tour with France.com several months before we left so were a little apprehensive that no one would be there the day we docked . No worries, Gwen , our awesome driver and extremely knowledgable tour guide was waiting when we disembarked. He managed to hit all of the fabulous sites we wanted to see and also enjoy an outdoor cafe "people watching ." Kudos to John who helped us plan it and Gwen who made it happen !!!!!!

GBNot as well as I hoped Normandy is amazing. Our only problem was that the other people were Canadian so they spoke French and since our guide as French, he decided to pretty much stick with that language. They also spoke English so the French was more for the guide than for us. He was supposed to be an English speaking guide. His knowledge of the area was okay but the other man on the trip and I were better at explaining what happened on each beach. However, I wanted to get to Normandy and made it so that was the great part.

ATThis tour was awful. The tour guide seemed hungover, did not know much and kept repeating meaningless information. His directions were poor and he failed to conduct a worthwhile tour. The sights and format were good and had we encountered a good guide, this tour could have been extraordinary. Because of this experience I would not recommend wasting money on this tour.

FRA beautiful day but disappointing in one respect. I paid a higher amount to book this particular tour as my friend recommended the company and raved about the lunch and restaurant. When the driver was taking us to Normandy, I commented on lunch, and he said, no, lunch is on your own. I think I'm due a refund of about $100 (or more). There were many other D Day/Normandy tours to choose from, but I paid extra for this benefit and we were very disappointed. Lunch added an additional $40 to our trip!
