DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS!!! We were a group of 11 who booked a trip to the Almalfi Coast with Brian John and he stole our money and didn’t book anything. We checked with the transportation companies and hotels that he claimed to make reservations with and they all confirmed that he never made any reservations and they never even heard of him. He claimed afterwards that someone in our group cancelled the entire trip with someone named “Luigi” ( our trip was to Italy ) which was nothing but a big fat lie! Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company so your vacation is not ruined like ours instead of using this lying scam artist!

Aegean Vacay My experience was great. This was my first time going to Greece as well as taking a cruise. The vacation package I selected from Mainly Vacations was very accommodating. From the time my family, friends and I arrived in Athens we were greeted by friendly and hospitable people. From the hotel staff Athenian Callirhoe hotel to the Celestyal Cruise crew felt welcome.The tour guides were very informative. I was able to gain so much knowledge on Greek culture on my brief stay. I will definitely book with Mainly Vacations again.

Fraud Fraud! DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS. reference a previous post by the Gummos....brain John's never booked our trip to the almalfi coast. Leaving 11 people stranded at the lamezia train station...no vouchers no hotel reservations no transfers. We called hotels and verified he never made the reservations. Never sent documents in his travel app. Tried to blame It on our "group leader" however kathy and randy did contact him to find out why we never recieved info. We did. Ot change the reservation or request cancellation....he never made the reservations.....we are now collecting names of others to formulate a class action law suit.....DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS OR BRIAN JOHN

I just finished reading the reviews… I just finished reading the reviews posted against Mainly Vacations and almost every one written is exactly the same problem I experienced, We booked a trip in Sept. 2018 for Italy in July 2019. Three weeks before the trip when I had not yet received any paperwork about the trip although been told numerous times all flights were arranged, I was finally told the trip was cancelled as it was a small group tour and 12 other passengers cancelled. We, too, were offered the independent tour but as we are in our 70s and taking our 12 year old granddaughter, we did not feel comfortable doing this. According to the terms and conditions, our deposit and final payment would be refunded. We received our final payment but have not yet received the $1,200 deposit. I have been told many times, that it would be coming. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with the hopes of getting my money back. Although their tours sound interesting, I would not trust this company to make it happen.

DON'T DO IT!!!! If I coul take the whole experience back .. I would . I booked a trip to the Amalfi coast with Brian John who did nothing but scam us. We absolutely were recommended to Mainly Vacations from another friend.. but believe me that was NOT our experince. We got on a train to Naples with fake tickets, and only to find out with absolute confirmation with each of the hotels that we were to stay.. that reservations were never made. Brian John did not book our trip like we had commisssioned him to do. I have in my possession every piece of confirmation that supports that he did not do what he was paid to do.i will make it my mission to help other travelers not to make this same mistake, Do Not Book With BRIAN JOHN!!!!!!!!
