I do not recommend using this… I do not recommend using this application because there are many defects and the volunteer offers are old and not up to date. They also do not want to refund money because I sent volunteer requests and they are all expired or closed. There is no acceptance to refuse to refund adding people.

I met life long friends and made great memories while traveling all over the world and working. This way I learned so much more about the country and the culture. Worldpackers is my favorite way to travel

Worldpackers changed my life positively I can say that Worldpackers changed my life positively. 5 years ago I started traveling as a volunteer, it was my first approach to a true life of travel, since I had no money. Not only did I meet wonderful people and places, I also improved many skills both at work and on a personal level, which has helped me create portfolios as a professional and relate better to people (both from my culture and from others). I can say that it was not only a way to save money, since all those learnings quickly began to generate money, enough to continue traveling to any destination I wanted, so now when I volunteer (because I still do it from time to time) , I do it just for the pleasure, not for the money. Of course, with so many volunteers for so many years I had some unpleasant experiences, but I always had the support of the support, so I definitely would not dare to volunteer outside the Worldpackers platform.

No screening of helpers, allow criminals to use platform No screening of helpers. Horrible experience for a very accommodating host. A liar and convicted criminal was permitted to operate through their system and stay at our family home; then follow it up with a negative review which was totally unwarranted and unjustified. The guy had serious psychological issues and skipped out in the middle of the night. No assistance offered on how to manage the situation or accountability by Worldpackers, just generic replies. Then allowing him submit an inaccurate negative review was like rubbing salt in the wound. There's other better managed platforms. I suggest using one of these instead. Avoid Worldpackers if you care about your home/business.

I traveled around France by bicycle I traveled around France by bicycle. I went from place to place about every two to three weeks. I was always warmly welcomed to each host place. Each one was different, which made it even more enjoyable. I am 65 and had no problem getting a placement. Each place even wanted me to continue staying and welcomed me back any time I was in the area. I met volunteers that were semi skilled down to novice. Each person was assigned a project that they could complete with ease. In Ireland I met some lifelong friends and hope to return at some point.
