Southern Dynasty Safaris Southern Dynasty Safaris, based in Livingstone, organised a trip for us in Kafue NP in Zambia (4 days, 3 nights). We were picked up punctually from our hotel & driven in comfort to our accommodation (Pinnon Lodge) in the wilderness of Kafue NP. During our time there we did several game drives, a boat trip & a walking trip with an armed escort, all this as agreed & written in our itinerary. Mr Collins Kalonga of Southern Dynasty kept in contact with me throughout our time there to ensure that we were satisfied - we were. Food provided by the Lodge was good & varied. The manager of the Lodge (Martin) was knowledgeable about the area & its wildlife; he was our brilliant guide/driver. At the end of our stay we were driven back to Lusaka. The next day we travelled to Livingstone by bus. There we had the pleasure of meeting Collins in person. He helped us to change our accommodation. I then asked him to arrange an afternoon trip to Mosi oa Tunya NP; this he did with his usual efficiency & we were happy with the trip. Southern Dynasty is an excellent company & I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wishes to do wildlife trips in southern Africa.
