About Enrichment Journeys

Enrichment Journeys is created for people who value authentic travel experiences and access to some of the world's most distinctive and memorable destinations. Since our founding in 2012, Enrichment Journeys has been crafting one-of-a-kind, inclusive voyages to compelling destinations, with Journeys featuring curated escorted tours, airfare, cruises, 4-star-plus hotels and transfers. Our air arrangements are thoughtfully planned so you can maximize your time in every destination, immersing yourself in new cultures and traditions each time you step foot in a new city. Local guides lead in-depth tours during your exploration of these fascinating locales, and at the end of every day, you will retreat to carefully selected 4-star-plus hotels in convenient locations where you can further take in the native surroundings. Plus, enjoy most of your meals at hand-picked restaurants where you can savor local cuisine. The result is a seamless, all-inclusive vacation—often at a fraction of the cost of comparable tours. To top it off, you will not find these packages and the experiences they offer available from any other company! While the core of our mission has remained the same since our founding, we have expanded to offer land-only safaris, stays at quaint, boutique hotels and even luxury ger accommodations in some of the world’s most far-flung locales. In 2023, we enhanced our offerings, yet again, with increased free time and a more leisurely to moderate pace on select itineraries. Pacing indicators are listed on the front page of each and every Journey to provide more information about the level of independent exploration and guided tours included. Enrichment Journeys is a proud part of Online Vacation Center, which has been serving the vacation industry for nearly five decades. Our dedicated travel professionals draw from a wealth of combined industry knowledge to best serve you, and our excellent customer service speaks for itself with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Good Bang for the Buck.I appreciate the time frame of the… I appreciate the time frame of the trip, especially since they now stay near.y a week at one hotel. Not going from hotel to hotel influenced our decision to rebook. Most of the trip is included, which mean few financial surprises…also a plus.

Have been on 5 or 6 EJ trips and they… Have been on 5 or 6 EJ trips and they were everything you could ask for. Plane transportation, hotels, tours, some meals, really good, but now they have modified their policy and some of their trips will only be 'get you there, put you up and bring you back'. Everything else is up to you. as touring today can be quite a challenge, you really need to read the fine print and see just what they are providing and what they're not.

Absolutely Wonderful Our pre-cruise tour could not have been better! I feel this is where a TA really shines because anyone can put you on a cruise and the cruise line has the game down pat, but the land tours are where a the great TA's rise to the top! and EJ definitely rose to the occasion. Everything from the flight to the hotel to our AMAZING tour guide, to the food, etc, etc, etc, was absolutely amazing.

We loved the Iguazu pre-tour and tours in Rio We loved the Iguazu pre-tour. It ended up to be a private tour with a wonderful guide, Antonio. The Bourbon Eco Resort was a great hotel with a nice little rescue zoo. It was walking distance to a shopping mall which was convenient. Seeing both sides of the falls was perfect. We really enjoyed dinner the first night at the hotel. The lunch buffets at the national parks at the falls were poor. It would have been better to not include lunch. We could have snacked and had more sightseeing time, then an include dinner at the hotel those nights too would have been best. There really were not other restaurants around and the hotel food was good. We really appreciated the prompt transfers on both of our arrivals at the airport (Andre and Sergio) in Rio and being met by Antonio in Iguazu. The Miramar hotel in Rio was great. The location on Copacabana beach near the end leading to Ipanema beach allowed us to take long walks and see the sunset over the beach. We felt safe with all the police presence. The tours were all great and we enjoyed the speciality drink making on Sugar loaf mountain. Our guide Sergio was good but not great. He was timely and competent. The dinner at the hotel the first night was great. The included lunches and the farewell dinner were poor. The steak houses are a tourist traps and the food was not good. The farewell dinner was at Fogo de Chao, a chain restaurant which we have here at home. It was very crowded and noisy with poor service and food. Wine was not included which is expected at a farewell dinner. Everyone in our group said the dinner would have been much better at our hotel which we enjoyed the first night. The bus driver was very good and our transfer to the airport smooth. The included tour in Salvador was good, but not great. It would have been good to do a walking tour from the port and take the special big elevator up to the top for the views. We saw only 2 of the 3 scheduled museums since our ship docked late, which was fine. The included lunch was good but took way too much time out of our touring time. Service was slow. Note: We had a glitch on our first day arrival (3/6) at the Miramar Hotel. They said they did not have our reservation. After a phone call they confirmed our room. They upgraded our room to ocean front for the inconvenience. Also your company told us the hotel would store one piece of luggage each during the time we were at Iguazu falls. They told us they never do that because they have a very small luggage room and worry about security. We showed them our written documents that you provided and eventually the manager agreed to store our luggage for those 3 days. It appeared both of these issues may have been communication between Enrichment Journey personnel and hotel staff during the time of making the reservation.
