GBAvoid this dishonest company Santana cancelled a trip in Spring 2024. They are not providing a refund despite having my money in a trust (supposedly). The owner, Bill, is not communicating with the group in a transparent manner. It is remarkably disappointing and frustrating.

GBWorth every penny The whole trip was very well organized and all the support people were very patient and put up with a lot of questions. The logistics were very well done and getting from point A to B was very smooth. I would definitely do another Santana trip. The only thing that missed was that I was under the impression that I could "rent" CO2 cartridges. I thought that I would put down a deposit for them and get my money back if I returned them. I was literally told by the person who I paid, "I hope to be buying these back at the end". When I returned the cartridges, I was told there was no money returned. Not really a big deal in the greater scheme of things but definitely was not communicated correctly.

BSA unique and wonderful trip to Tasmania! A unique and wonderful trip! Santana has its own special vibe which we connected to right away. The guests are interesting, open and always up for a laugh. Our ship and crew in Tasmania get a resounding A+. The Santana gang was helpful and down to earth. We had a great time.

GBSantana cycling cruise to New Zealand This was our first Santana trip and we will definitely be back! We loved the opportunity to vacation with so many other cyclists. Being on a boat for the entire trip allowed us to unpack once at the beginning of the trip and then not have to pack up again until the end of the trip. That was a nice feature of a cycling cruise. The cycling was challenging but there were route options to fit every rider ability. The trip was well organized and despite the number of people on this trip it still had a personal touch. Santana does a great job, their experience shows. The trips are more expensive than other outfitters but I think the difference is in the cost of the boat. In my opinion it’s worth it.

GB2022 Aus/Taz trip Aus/Taz was a great trip, but after doing 11-12 Santana trips now my wife & I do not enjoy the larger ship experience. We feel like the need of larger ports there is too much time spent standing in lines, tenders off ships, & rides that have to incorporate the city/wharf part of the rides. With that said Windstar was a wonderful service ship—the crew was unbelievable. We also realize being a 1st time trip all the “on the fly” changes that were needed and how you best serve us as travelers.
