A Bad Call The experience of attending the Derby was great! Race 12 not so much, Churchill Downs must be struggling financially. Payout for race 12 was just over $500k when Maximum Security was disqualified. Because of that call Churchill Downs was able to pocket $8.5 million based on the disqualification. As a first time attendant, I can only hope that attendance to future Derby’s is significant lower as a result of Saturday’s outcome. I will never return to a horse race event. Louis Nowell

DerbyBox provided an exceptional… DerbyBox provided an exceptional Kentucky Derby experience for me and my friend. The only glitch we encountered was of our own making’ as we got turned around quite a bit while exiting the Kentucky Oaks on Friday and we could not find our shuttle pickup spot. The shuttle driver had only pointed out the house where we were dropped off, not the street name’ or address. Fortunately the shuttle contact number had been provided by DerbyBox and I had it handy and we found our ride. I would encourage DerbyBox to remind attendees in that very comprehensive ticket/welcome pack to remember to ask for the street address and even load it into their cell phones. But I truly have no complaints with the package and had a wonderful time,
